Poste Delivers Mouthwatering American Cuisine
A fine warm-up act to a concert at the nearby MCI Center or a play at the Shakespeare Theatre is dinner at Poste. Housed in the Hotel Monaco, the high-ceilinged dining room always has a nice glow and a happy buzz, while from the exhibition kitchen come dishes that dare to be a little different. Garlicky snails wear pastry caps, and an Arugula salad shows up looking like a perfect hedge, breezy with mint and sweetened with figs. In winter there might be a Beef Bourguignon with roasted fingerlings and seasonal vegetables, while springtime may bring Crispy Skin Wild Striped Bass served with creamy champ potatoes, adorned with a red wine poached farm egg and drizzled with caper beurre noisette. Strong performances like Gingerbread Cake or our famous Chocolate Pot de Crème will keep you in your seat through dessert.
