Bring out your artistic side
at the Alexis Hotel, Hotel Cosmo or 5th Avenue Suites

Art aficionados will love the different art programs at the Alexis Hotel in Seattle, the Hotel Cosmo in San Francisco and 5th Avenue Suites in Portland. From ongoing art exhibits in the hotel lobby to painting at wine hour, guests will find themselves immersed in creativity and inspiration.

Alexis Hotel
As part of the hotel's commitment to Northwest artists, the Alexis features rotating art exhibits throughout the year. Curated by Suzzanne Fokine Thomas and Patricia Cameron, the works can be found throughout the public spaces and along the hotel's “Art Walk,” a hallway dedicated to fine art.
As part of the hotel's permanent collection is a multi-color, 12 foot glass chandelier created by renowned local artist Dale Chihuly as a symbol for the Seniors Making Art Chihuly Circle Lifetime Fund. Original artwork can also be found in guest rooms including lithographs by John Lennon in the John Lennon Suite and serigraphs by jazz legend Miles Davis in the Miles Davis Suite. In addition, the hotel is introducing their Pacific Northwest Artists Suite featuring the art of local artists in a variety of mediums. Artwork in this suite will be rotated quarterly.
The hotel's wine hour offers another opportunity for guests to express their artistic side. In addition to the evening's pour, guests are provided with a postcard, easel and watercolors to create a “masterpiece” to send home to friends or family.

Hotel Cosmo
With a tradition of stimulating creative spirits and playing host to artists and their work, Hotel Cosmo will host quarterly receptions for local artists, feature their work in a playful setting and contribute a percentage of their gallery profits to supports the arts. Ongoing exhibits will always be fresh and exciting and feature art so affordable that guests can take the creative spirit of the Hotel Cosmo home with them.

5th Avenue Suites
5th Avenue Suites invite guests to paint a picture of their perfect hotel experience and let them make it into a grand masterpiece. A patron of the arts, the 5th Avenue Suites hotel supports the local art community while filling the hotel with original fine art. Plush, ornate styling graces the historic, early 19th century building in Portland. Built in 1912, this downtown hotel is a living gallery, both inside and out.
