Poste Delivers Mouthwatering American Cuisine

A fine warm-up act to a concert at the nearby Verizon Center or a play at the Shakespeare Theatre is dinner at Poste. Housed in the Hotel Monaco, the high-ceilinged dining room always has a nice glow and a happy buzz, while from the exhibition kitchen come dishes that dare to be a little different. Garlicky snails wear pastry caps, and an Arugula salad shows up looking like a perfect hedge, breezy with mint and sweetened with figs. In winter there might be a Beef Bourguignon with roasted fingerlings and seasonal vegetables, while springtime may bring Wreckfish served with champ potatoes and red wine poached egg. Strong performances like our Tasting of Salted Caramel or our famous Market Blueberry Sorbet will keep you in your seat through dessert.
